Working with dogs isn't just a job to me—it's something I'm truly passionate about. I genuinely believe that dogs are the best souls on the planet. Their loyalty, honesty, and unconditional love are qualities that are hard to find anywhere else. Being around dogs brings me a sense of happiness and peace that nothing else can match. They are one of the only things on this earth that consistently make me happy, which is why helping, training, and spending time with them means so much to me. I am so thankful to be a valued member of the Doggy Adventures team.

I’m Elise, I started the business in 2015 after I quit my job as a history teacher. I found it hard to find a dog walker I could trust with something so precious – my dog.
My overall aim is to help owners with their dogs, I know how hard it can be to find someone to trust, that shows love and respect towards my dog.
Over the years, I have helped hundreds of owners in Lancaster with recall, lead-work, obedience training, socialisation and doggy manners – If I can improve the lives of these dogs and their owners – then I will! With no judgement, just helpful advice and guidance because I’ve been there myself. Theres nothing better for the soul than to help these dogs, providing them with confidence, respect and love. I've written two books helping owners with dogs that pull and jump up.

Hi, I'm Harry. Growing up in a house full of pets, I've always had a deep love for animals. I initially pursued a career in construction, but after a few years in plumbing, I realized my true calling lay elsewhere. In 2026, I made the leap to dog walking with Doggy Adventures, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. I am absolutely loving the job; there is nothing better than spending my days outdoors, building a bond with the dogs, and getting to know all their unique personalities. It's incredibly rewarding to provide peace of mind for the owners, and it truly is a dream come true.

I can't imagine another workplace where I'd be so happy to be greeted each day by huge bear hugs, big sloppy kisses and, of course, ferociously wagging tails! I've always wanted to work with animals, especially dogs, and walking with Doggy Adventures just so happened to cross my path exactly when I needed it. I adore getting to know each of the dogs' unique and wonderful personalities and taking them out to explore our lovely local area. Watching them make new friends, experience different terrain and grow in confidence week on week is an absolute pleasure. They make me smile and laugh every day and I look forward to Monday mornings when I can get back out there, come rain or shine, with all my little pals!

I’m John, after working in pharmacy I was called to quit my job and help my wife Elise grow the business. Due to my background I’m responsible for the medical needs of dogs and training for the staff. When I first started dog walking, I was responsible for the dogs that couldn’t be let off lead and I had the pleasure of taking the dogs on a scent hunt, while Elise took the bigger bouncy dogs to burn off energy.
Everyday is a new adventure and I’m still loving it.
